My name is Rebecca Whiffin, I’m 16 years old and currently studying A levels in Religious Education, Psychology and Business Studies at Exeter College alongside the Dance Academy.

I started ballet lessons at Joanna Mardon when I was 4 years old and I instantly fell in love with it. Not long after I started jazz which I also loved. Now I’m in Grade 6 ballet, Intermediate ballet, Advanced jazz and Contemporary, and I enjoy every lesson.

There isn’t one part of dancing at the school I don’t love - from exams to the amazing shows put on. There’s always something to work towards.

I’ve always looked up to the older dancers so I’m incredibly grateful to help. Hopefully I can inspire the younger dancers to try their hardest and to enjoy dancing as much as I do.
