My name is Amélie Brooking, I’m 16 years old and studying a T level in Health for Midwifery and Nursing at Exeter College.

I started dancing at Joanna Mardon at the age of 4 and joined the ballet class. I loved it instantly and continue to have this passion and love for ballet.

I’m currently working towards my Grade 7 ballet exam and doing intermediate ballet alongside it. I love working towards the exams and making sure I work hard at them within the classes. As well as this I enjoy putting the hard work towards the amazing dance shows that are created through Joanna Mardon and all the teachers and students that are involved.

I love teaching and helping the younger ballet classes and watching them grow over the years. My favourite part is working towards the dance shows with the children and watching them get stronger and perform their dances on stage. I hope to grow their love for ballet and make them enjoy every lesson like the teachers have done for me.
