Exeter dance classes with the Joanna Mardon School of Dance

Exeter Dance School, The Joanna Mardon School of Dance, based in Exeter, Devon is celebrating 25 years of teaching children and young adults to dance. Offering classes  for children from 3 years of age upwards. We are excited to announce that we are adding new classes from September 2017 in Pom/Cheer and Contemporary which we hope will compliment our current dance classes in the Exeter area for Ballet, Tap and Freestyle Jazz/Street.

Exeter Dance Teachers at Joanna Mardon School of Dance - meet the teachersOur teachers follow an ethos of fun and enjoyment which we feel are the key elements to the success of the dance school, together with a structured teaching policy enabling the potential of all pupils to be recognised.

We have an excellent record of International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) &  Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examination results for our ballet, freestyle jazz/street and tap dance students. The exams are optional but encouraged enabling a sense of achievement to be gained.

Our students attend their dance class at Clyst Heath Primary School, & St. Lawrence Church Hall, both in Exeter, Devon. Parents do not attend the classes on a weekly basis but are invited regularly to observe their child’s progress.

All abilities are welcome, and we offer dance classes for boys and girls.

We are registered with the Royal Academy of Dance and the International Dance Teachers Association.
