We offer Tap classes in Exeter from the age of 4 years old for boys and girls. We follow the International Dance Teachers Association syllabus together with free creative non-syllabus classes.
Tap encourages children to experiment with different rhythms and tempos. Incorporated into the different levels / classes children can experience traditional tap from the classics like ‘Fred Astaire’, Fosse style, Irish ‘River dance’ style to modern up beat ‘Tap dogs’ style. The options are endless.
Our experienced Tap teachers produce a variety of styles for our annual show which often inspires our younger children.
Tap classes take place in Exeter at St. Lawrence Church Hall, Lower Hill Barton Road, Exeter on a Monday and Tuesday evening.
