Examinations and Medal Tests

2021-2022 Academic Year

A huge well done to all pupils who have achieved amazing results in their examinations this year through both The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and International Dance Teacher’s Associoation (IDTA). 100% success with most results in the top achievement bands.

Special mention to Darcey Burgoyne, Katie Ashcroft and Eleanor Fearn-Smith achieving their IDTA Intermediate Tap Examination. This is a massive achievement especially given the last 2 year’s disruption to classes.

Also massive congratulations to the RAD Grade 8 Ballet students Katie Ashcroft, Eleanor Fearn-Smith, Amelia Vaughan-Ryall, Darcy Skinner, Bonnie Irwin, Lucy Bowden and Keani Kennard completing their examination in July with fabulous results- 2 DISTINCTIONS, 2 HIGH MERITS and 3 MERITS. 

Since returning to classes after covid closures we have conducted over 300 examinations / medal tests across ballet, tap and jazz genres.
